Work Force and Facilities
MCM employs a scalable workforce and facility management system, which allows us to ramp up both personnel and facilities based on project demands. Our two locations in Warren, Michigan have over 5,000 Sq. ft. of office and administrative space. Our facilities in Macomb County, Michigan total over 5,000 Sq. ft. of secured warehouse and service maintenance/manufacturing space that are scalable based on government or partner needs. All facilities have robust security systems and personnel hold job-level security clearances.
Translation Services
MCM translates written and oral content for a variety of international audiences. We conduct an analysis and then review in detail the instructional strategy for translation that ties the determined methodologies to the project’s success drivers with measurable results. These success drivers include all of the variables that impact the translation, including learner characteristics (such as literacy and tribal dialect(s)), environmental conditions and context, organizational conditions and context, and the key performance indicators for success. MCM designs translation templates based on the specific requirements of the designated audience, and utilizes multi-lingual human linguists who focus on meaning in the application environment as opposed to literal or software-based translation. When beneficial, we conduct pilots of translation products in-theater to confirm success.
Quality Management
MCM’s design and development processes ensure that the technical, administrative, and human factors affecting quality are under strict control by our Quality Management System (QMS). MCM’s QMS is designed to maintain and continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal performance so that the products and services that we provide satisfy customer and regulatory requirements. MCM’s QMS meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
Wounded Wing
Our gratitude to those who serve our country led us to found Wounded Wing, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to families of wounded soldiers. Wounded Wing assists families and similar organizations to navigate the procedures, administrative tasks, and requirements that occur when a soldier is wounded, such as travel, visiting arrangements, documentation, and paperwork.
“They have produced a quality product and have been well received from the requirements owner in theater. The contractor hired a Dari/Pashtu linguist instead of using a computer based program which has resulted in having correctly translated manuals that the Afghan National Army (ANA) and Afghan National Police (ANP) can read and use.”
Contracting Officer Army Contracting Command
“The PM office has vetted the manuals with the requirement owner in theater which has received exceptional feedback. The requirement owner has stated that the manuals have been the best they have seen to date.”
